Lunch to plan a breakfast

Today I am having lunch with our first of 5 Business Breakfast speakers, Mr. Frank Sabatini. Mr. Mal Robinson, our moderator for the breakfast and Board Member will be sitting down for lunch with myself and Mr. Sabatini in Topeka to discuss some of the details for our breakfast event on Thursday, September 29.

One of the best parts of my job at Youth Entrepreneurs is the opportunity to meet with highly successful entrepreneurs who have a passion for our mission. Mr. Sabatini is no different. He’s a lifelong entrepreneur with many success stories (and I imagine a few failures along the way as well).

I’m looking forward to learning more about his accomplishments and what he see in the value of an organization mission like Youth Entrepreneurs’. You can learn more about the upcoming Business for Breakfast with Mr. Frank Sabatini here.

Are you Staying Busy?

It’s a question I hear often from visitors in our office and from people I run into on the street. My answer is always – YES! Why wouldn’t I respond with a yes? Who doesn’t respond with a yes? YE is constantly changing and I’m constantly spinning my wheels to keep up with the change and prove my competitive advantage. Of all the organizations I’ve worked with in the past, YE is the best when it comes to Creative Destruction and with that comes flexibility and “busy-ness”.

Teachers have a summer break from May – August and often this leads to the assumption that our offices close in the summer. This isn’t the case at all. We’re busy with trainings, added value opportunities for alumni and planning for a successful crop of new students. Bring on the new school year and hundreds of new Youth Entrepreneurs students!
